Wine of the Month Club

Each month our staff will choose two to three wines exclusively for our club members. They will vary from country, style, and varietal. An extensive information sheet will accompany the wines including: menu ideas, serving suggestions, history of the grape, vineyard and region, recent accolades and other interesting facts. The monthly cost will be approximately between $25.00 and $35.00.


The wine will be available for pick-up in the store at the first of every month. Delivery is available in Anderson Township for a $4.00 fee. Outside of Anderson Township within the 275 belt, delivery is available for $8.00.

The Dezzani family is one of the most highly respectable in all of Italy. The wines produced today are made from the third generation of the Dezzani vintners. This long history of faithful friendship and cultivated business relations with the growers themselves, allows the third generation of Dezzani to pick and choose from among the best vineyard sites.

IL DEZZANI

DOC 1990IL Dragone $15.99

This is the wine that the Dezzani family is known for. It is their goal to show the ageability of a very fine Barbera. This Barbera comes from the Asti zone of Piedmont, one of the three DOC zones if the area. The color of this wine is an intense ruby red with orange hues. It is elegant and complex with hints blackberry, dried plum and green pepper. Try with red roast meats or imported matured cheese.


IL DEZZANI
Roero Arneis
DOC 2000 Monfrigio $9.99

Arneis is a white grape variety of Peidmont, elevated to DOC status in 1989. The wine is fresh and bright, offering flavors of banana, pear and sage. Combine with any fish dishes or light meals.
